A.C. Colley, 79, of the 3800 block of Griffin St., died Nov. 10, 2003, in Maryview Medical Center. A native of Snowhill, Ala., he was the widower of Sadie Harrell Colley and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a carpenter, having worked for George T. McLean for 18 years.
A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth chapel, by Elder Milton Harrell and Pastor Steve Sessoms. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at 2 p.m. today. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. for the service.
