Mabel G. Showers, 63, 138 Pape Alley, Gettysburg, died Monday evening the Gettysburg Hospital.
Born in Adams County and resided there for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Ivan P. and Edith Naugle Stoner.
She was a member of Upper Bermudian Lutheran Church, Gardners. Her frst husband Clarence E. Williams died in 1949 and her second husband Edgar C. Showers died in 1985.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Linda L. Jordan, Biglerville; three sons, Clarence E. Williams Jr., Harrisburg, Sidney F. Williams, Orrtanna and Steven E. Williams Sr., New Oxford; four sisters, Evelyn Jeffcoat, Irvin, Pa., Mae Lochbuam, Esther Richardson and Myrtle Williams, all of Gettysburg; three step daughters, Mrs. Howard (Dora) Sandoe, North Bend; Mrs. richard (Marie) Helm, Biglerville, and Rosella Miller, Gettysburg; three step sons, William Showers, Harvard Ill., Dale Showers, Biglerville and Joseph Showers, Bendersville. 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday from the Dugan Funeral Home, Bendersville, with the Rev. Kenneth Swick Officiating. Interment will be in Upper Bermudian Church Cemetery.
