C. A. Adoue Dies Saturday
Clifford A. Adoue, 68, a retired Texaco refinery worker, and resident of Casper since 1921, died in Natrona Memorial Hospital late Saturday night. He had been ill only a short time.
Mr. Adoue was born May 29, 1892, at Homer, La., where he attended the local schools, and later Springfield College at Mobile, Ala. He and the former Bonnie Evans were married at Gulfport, Miss., July 13, 1913. They made their home in Mobile until 1921, when they moved to Casper.
He was employed by the Texas Co. until his retirement three years ago. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors are his wife, at the family home, 742 South Ash; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Hirschfeld and Mrs. John Terriere, both of Casper, two granddaughters, four sisters and two brothers.
Recitation of the rosary will be held at the Bustard Funeral Home Tuesday at 8 p.m. Requiem high mass will be celebrated by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Thomas F. O'Reilly at St. Anthony's Church Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
