Wife of the late Henry Robertson "Hal" Aleman.

Mother of Essie Aleman Kethley and the Right Reverend Monsignor Vernon Peter Aleman, Pastor of St. Raphael Church, New Orleans.

Grandmother of Richard Dale Kethley.

Sister of Henry Clay Schreiber, Joseph Schreiber, Eliza Schreiber, Charles Schreiber, Clara Schreiber, and Sarah Schreiber. Sister-in-law of George Prejean.

Daughter of Mathilde Victorine Hernandez and Charles Schreiber.


She was a native of Assumption Parish, Louisiana, and lived many years in Welcome, St. James Parish, Louisiana, and five years in New Orleans.

Member of the Third Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, a special religious order also known as Lay Carmelites.



Visitation at Jacob Schoen and Sons, Inc., 3827 Canal Street.

Solemn Requiem Mass at St. Raphael the Archangel Church on Elysian Fields Avenue at Prentiss Avenue, Saturday, 13 October 1956.

Interment - St. Louis Cemetery # 3 on Esplanade Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana.
