Bobbie Rae Strickland, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with her heavenly family on Monday at the age of 82.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Henry Strickland; sister, Jean Hayes; children, Paul Strickland, Dean Fletcher, Bonnie Moulton (Jim), Kim Kirsch (Patrick); her grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Willie Lee; brothers, Pete Lee, James Lee, Don Lee and Billy Lee; sisters, Mattie Lou White, Bonnie Keating, Dorothy Oakes, Ima Seagars and Dean Nelson.
Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 26, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Jemison First Baptist with Rev. Emmett Majors officiating. Martin Funeral Home directing.
