Mary Lou Holt
HAMLIN -- Mary Lou Holt, 72, died Saturday at her home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Foster-Adams Funeral Home with the Rev. Tracy Watson officiating. Burial will be in Hamlin Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Holt was born in Wellman and graduated from high school in 1944 in McCamey. She moved to Hamlin from Rankin in 1965 and was a bookkeeper for Radium Gin and, for many years, worked for the Hamlin Public Library. She was a Baptist and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies' Auxiliary. She married V.E. "Pinkie" Holt in 1948.
Survivors include her husband of Hamlin; two sons, Terry Holt of Decatur and James Holt of Denver City; her mother, Ranier Coplen of Hamlin; three brothers, Joe Coplen of San Angelo, Jerry Coplen of Midland and Ed Coplen of Hereford; two sisters, Pat Herron of Odessa and Helen Reed of Menden, La.; and seven grandchildren.
