DEATH OF JESSE CRUZE WAS SHOCK TO MINCO PEOPLE
The people of Minco and vicinity were greatly shocked when they heard of the death of Jesse Cruze at 9:40 o'clock Saturday morning.
Mr. Cruze had been feeling ill for a day or rwo, but his illness did not seem of a serious nature until about six hours before his death.
Saturday morning the family became alarmed and a doctor was called, but when he arrived Mr. Cruze was found to be dying, Anouther doctor was called, but before he arrived Mr. Cruze had passed away.
Jesse A;fred Cruze was born Dec. 9, 1879 in Greensboro, Tenn., and was one of a family of eight, four boys and four girls. All have preceded him wit the exception of three sisters, now living in Tennessee.
Mr. Cruze united in marriage in 1905 to Frances Virginina Gabriel, at Lindsay, Okla. To this union six children were born, four girls and two boys. He moved from Lindsay to a farm west of Minco in 1914, with his wife and three children. Later he moved his family to Minco where he lived ntil his death.
He leaves his loving wife; four daughters, Broneta, Adell, Jessie Fae and Leona; two sons, Jay Lee and James Alfred, to mourn his passing.
Funeral services were conducted in the Baptist Church, Monday afternoon by Rev.J.A. Haley. Interment was made in the Evergreen Cemetery.
