Dorothy M. Beach, 88, of Louisville, died Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville.

She was born Oct. 22, 1922 in Anderson to the late Lee and Hazel Stites Christie. She married Alvin C. Beach. He died in 1986. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, a brother and a sister.

Survivors include five children, James Beach (wife: Kimberly) of Crestwood, Ky., Beverly Setree (husband: Robert) of Jeffersonville, Rex Beach (wife: Vicki) of Princeton, Jody Beach (wife: Jan) and Cheryl Amador of Lafayette; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
