Our sweet, loving daughter and sister, A'Leesha (Our Love) Nichelle Hodnett, went to be with the Lord December 24, 2010, at Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. She was born January 29, 1989, in Odessa, Texas, to Larry and Starla Hodnett, Jr.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Cowboy Junction Church with Pastor Ty Bean officiating. Interment will take place after services at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Chapel of Hope which is in charge of arrangements. The family will greet friends from 4 - 6 p.m.
A'Leesha was the love of our life. She touched people's lives throughout her whole life with the joy in her eyes and love in her heart.
A'Leesha is survived by her parents, Larry and Starla of Hobbs; two brothers, Corey of Victoria, Texas, and Jeremy of Hobbs; grandmother, Mable Breeden of VA, and grandfather, Ropbert Lumpkin of TX; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
