Funeral for Azzie Leigh Hill Bates Styers, 79, of Decatur was to be today at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Thomas officiating. Burial was to be in Decatur City Cemetery.
Mrs. Styers died Saturday, October 4, 1997, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born May 19, 1918, in Lawrence County. She was a member of Decatur Christian Church and was a retired bookkeeper at Rose Jewelry. She lived at Presbyterian Towers.
She is survived by three daughters, Janice Deroma Baker of Lilburn, Ga, Frankie Watkins of Decatur and Jennifer Swanger of Coral Gables, Fla; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were to be Greg Baker, Kirk Watkins, Lee Watkins, Marty Nowak, Greg Warnick and Mark Gouge.
