James Wiley Howell, 71, former McKeesport resident, died suddenly yesterday at his home, 810 East 152nd St., Cleveland, O.
Husband of the late Mrs. Daisy Collins Howell, he leaves four sons, Robert W., Carl W., Harold E., and Warren H., and a daughter, Mrs. Virginia H. Christensen, all of Cleveland. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Helen H. Pflumm of McKeesport, Mrs. Marguerite H. Armstrong of Mineral Ridge, O., Mrs. Mary H. Huemme of Boston, Pa., and Mrs. Martha Jaycox of Los Angeles; and a brother, John C. Howell, also of Los Angeles. He was the son of the late Robert J. and Nannie Whigham Howell.
Friends are being received at the Dodge Funeral Home in Cleveland where services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Vernon Cemetery here with the Rev. James O. Banks officiating.
