He is preceded in death by his wife, Rose M. (nee Long) Bargen, his parents, and one (1) sibling, Otto Bargen.
He is survived by one (1) child, Alvin O. (Christine) Bargen,
two (2 grandchildren, Daniel J. (Amber) Bargen, and Jennifer R. (Raymond D.) Krueger,
one (1) great-grandchild, Landon D. Bargen,
eight (8) siblings, Edward (the late Adele) Bargen, Harold (Patsy) Bargen, August (Rosalie) Bargen, Marie (the late Otis) Brown, Mildred Van Winkle, Alice (the late John) Ballhorn, and Lydia (Jerry) Grace.
Oscar is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held at Oak Hill Funeral Home in Kirkwood, MO on Monday, December 27, 2010 from 3-9 p.m. Service Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Ebeneezer Lutheran Church and Cemetery, 9100 Highway YY, Leslie, MO at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Ebeneezer Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Ebeneezer Lutheeran Church and Cemetery.
