Michael "Mike" worked as a pipeliner all over the United States in the natural gas industry. He was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Church. He was a resident of McAlester and died in Muskogee at the age of 54. Survivors include his brother, Raymond Frank Allsup Jr. and fiancé, Linda, of McAlester; sister, Janice Marie Eller, Abilene, Kan.; nieces and nephews, Lanene Trammell and husband, Jason, of Tannehill, Matthew Allsup and wife, Kelley, of Bache, Brian Allsup, of McAlester, Michael Eller, Abilene, and Leah Eller, Abilene. Also, uncle, Kenneth Harris and wife, Sandy, of Iowa; aunts, Jane Edwards, of McAlester, and Judy Clifton, of California, and great-nieces and great-nephews, Anthony Tipton, Rylee Allsup and Brooklynn Allsup, all of McAlester. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Edith Allsup; brother, Jimmy Allsup; maternal grandparents, James and Laura Harris, and uncles, Charles and Clifford Harris. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Chaney's Memorial Chapel led by Father Jim Caldwell. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at Chaney's Memorial Chapel celebrated by the Rev. Jim Caldwell. Arrangements are under the direction of Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home of McAlester. Honorary pallbearers will be James Wofford, Chris Wofford, Roy Wofford, James "Red" Bryant, Allen Herrin and Johnny Brewer.
