Ella Gaines Wardlaw Wright, 82, of Austell, Ga., died Wednesday, August 31, 1994, in the Presbyterian Village in Georgia. A native of Williamsburg Co., S. C., she lived in Blacksburg, Va. for 32, years, where she was a member of the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church and a librarian at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute. She was a 1932 graduate of Converse College and was married in 1934 to Thomas Perrin Wright. Before moving to Virginia, they lived in Great Falls and Belton in South Carolina. She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Randall of Delaware, Ohio; two sons, Perrin Wright Jr. of Tallahassee, Fla. and Frank Wright of Atlanta, Ga.; and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg, Va. The funeral service will be at the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. Monday, with graveside services in West view Cemetery. Memorial gifts, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 144, Blacksburg, Va. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home.
