Mr. Meddeaugh, age 80, passed away Friday morning, August 12, 1988 at the Standish Skilled Nursing Facility after a lingering illness. He was born in Bay County on May 9, 1908 and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a member of Pinconning United Methodist Church and was a retired employee of Kraft Food Products, after 45 years of service. He is survived by his wife, the former Pauline Carlson, whom he married in Standish on July 28, 1928, one son and daughter-in-law: Kenneth & Beatrice Meddeaugh of Linwood, two daughters and sons-in-law: Yvonne & Clyde Koth of Swartz Creek and Marleen & George Mangold of Louisville, KY., 2 brothers: Charles Meddeaugh of Lansing and Orville Meddeaugh of Auburn, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and one great gereat grandchild. He was predeceased by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 14, 1988 at 1 p.m. from the Pinconning United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Thompson and Rev. James Smith officiating with burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lee Funeral Home in Pinconning from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday and on Sunday from 10 a.m. until noon at which time he will be moved to church to lie in state until time of services. The family requests, in lieu of lflowers, memorials to the Alzheimers Foundation and the Pinconning United Methodist Church.
