Grace Elverta Hopkins; 78, of Knox Dale, died Tuesday, May 13, 1997 at the Pennsylvania Memorial Home, Brookville.
Mrs. Hopkins was born June 1, 1918 in Knox Township, the daughter of John and Minnie (Mottern) Ishman. She married Thomas W. Hopkins Jr. on May 11,1937.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Thomas W, Hopkins Jr.;
one daughter, Shirley Hopkins Smith of Brookville R.D. 3; five grandchildren and one great-grandson; and one brother, Clyde Ishman of Fennelton.
She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas George Hopkins on August 6, 1976; her parents; three sisters: Mamie Burkett, Helen Shirey and Alice Carpino; and six brothers: James Ishman, Howard Ishman, Robert Ishman, Clarence Ishman, Joseph Ishman and William Ishman.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Goble Funeral Home of Brookville. The Rev. Lloyd D. Tennies will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Knox Dale.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
