Ruby B. Boyd of Amarillo died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Trinity Methodist Church with Dr. Doug Mills officiating. Graveside services will be private. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.

Ruby was born Aug. 30, 1930, in Lubbock. She married James "Dub" Boyd on June 12, 1943, in Amarillo.

Ruby loved to garden and work outside. She was Dub's bookkeeper for their family business as well as for their personal life for more than 60 years.

She also loved doing crossword puzzles. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who will be missed by all she knew.

Survivors include her husband, James "Dub" Boyd; two sons, Steven Boyd and Richard Boyd and wife Linda, all of Amarillo; three brothers, Jimmy Barker, Melvin Barker and Virgil Barker; and two grandchildren, Shauna Greeson and Breonna Boyd.
