Hyrem W. "Buddy" Bounds (1929 - 2010)
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 10:00 am at White Funeral Home in Poplarville for Hyrem "Buddy" Bounds, 81 of Poplarville, MS who died November 26, 2010 at his residence. Burial will follow in Allen Landrum Cemetery.
Mr. Bounds was born May 11, 1929 to the late Hattie Fullen and Larkin Bounds. He was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the National Guard. He and his wife Ann owned several small businesses. They served together as missionaries for their church in Arizona and Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife: Annabelle Rogers Bounds and his parents: Larkin and Hattie Bounds.
Survivors include: his son: Dane Bounds (Jeanette) of Hammond, Louisiana daughters: Skye Alexie (Edward) of Derby, Mississippi; Stephanie Bennett of Poplarville, Mississippi; and Julie Coleman (Jeff) of White Sand, Mississippi. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren as well as one brother: Irvin E. Bounds of Hesperia, California.
