Hannah was married on March 30, 1854 in Eddyville, Iowa, to Jesse Dunlap (1824-1898) 219698074, the eldest child of Dr. Henry G. Livingston Dunlap 45885807 and Georgiana McDougal. Dr. Dunlap was the founder of City Hospital in Indianapolis. Jesse was 30 years old. Hannah was 18. The Meeker's and the Dunlaps both hailed from Marion County, Indiana. The newspaper announcing the marriage, said Hannah was "of Eddyville," suggesting she had lived there prior to her marriage. "Hymeneal" Eddyville Free Press, Apr 6, 1854, 2; She came west in a wagon train led by her brother Oliver in 1854 as a newlywed, her husband being Jesse Dunlap. Milford [Indiana] Mail, Nov 21 & 28, 1901, p8 c1-3,"In Quest of Gold: Reminiscences of An Overland Trip to California Half a Century Ago, Crossing the Plains" By a Gold-Seeker (aka Jacob P. Prickett); "Mail Matters," Eddyville Free Press, December 29, 1854, p2, col 5. The wagon train arrived in Steilacoom, Washington Territory, around October 20, 1854. The Dunlaps took out a donation land claim in the Fern Hill district of Tacoma, Washington, adjacent to the DLC claims taken by her brothers Oliver and Ezra. According to that document she married Jesse Dunlap on March 30, 1854. Hannah had at least three children, all born in Washington Territory. Major or Mayer Burt Dunlap (Sep 1856-ca?) appeared in every census through 1880; Chloe Anne Hedges Wolf (5 Sep 1857-24 Jun 1919), memorial 44827391; and (Alice or Allie Jane McCoy (29 Sep 1860-21 Oct 1886), memorial 210533564. Apparently Hannah had a falling out with Ezra's family over religious matters, and kept pretty much apart from family activities for years. Sometime in the 1870s the family moved to Pickaway County, Ohio. This according to the 1880 census and daughter Chloe's 23 Sep 1877 marriage there to George W. Hedges. It is possible that the family moved back to Washington as early as 1883 as Jesse & Hannah obtained a land claim on 25 Jan 1883 for 320.88 acres. The description is
