NAMPA — Services for Arthur Frankland McClintock, 79, Melba, who died in a Nampa nursing home Monday following an extended illness, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Alsip Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul Ledbetter, pastor of the Melba Baptist Church.

Interment will be in Kohlerlawn Cemetery.

He was born July 12, 1886, at Novelty, Missouri, and was married to Itha Marie Smart October 3, 1909, at Erie, Kansas.

They came to the Boise Valley in 1915, and moved to Melba in 1920, where he farmed for a number of years. He moved to Nampa in 1963, and has resided here since. Mrs. McClintick preceded him in death in 1948. He was a member of the Melba Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Ralph McClintick of Orovada, Nevada; five daughters, Mrs. Edna Grovom of Troy, Mrs. Erma Kyllo of Portland, Oregon, Mrs. Ruth Pettijohn of Citrus Heights, California, Mrs. Edith Kirtland of Melba, and Mrs. Alice Arny of Louisville, Kentucky; one brother, Harry McClintick of Arcadea, California; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Cowels of Boise, and Mrs. Ethel Ingebritson of Portland. Also 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by two grandsons and three brothers.
