Rear Admiral Ebenezer Prime.
Ebenezer Prime, a retired Admiral of the United States Navy, died at his home in Huntington, L.I., last night, aged 65 years. He was the son of Edward W. Prime, and in 1886 [should be 1883] married Eva Prime, a first cousin, who survives him. Their only son, Edward Prime, died in 1903. In 1863 [should be 1868] Mr. Prime was graduated from the Naval Academy and served in the navy during the remainder of the civil war. He was a Commander during the Spanish was, and in 1904 became a Captain. He reached the rank of Rear Admiral shortly before his retirement.
