Herman Perry Ramsey, 56, Uniontown farmer and stockman, died May 22, 1968 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Scott, Kansas. Death was attributed to a heart ailment.

Born at Uniontown Dec. 12, 1911, he was the son of Perry S. and Julia E. Schubert Ramsey.

He married Alice Cowan Nov. 20, 1931, at Iola, Kansas.

Mr. Ramsey's home was at the place of his birth. He was a member of the Uniontown Baptist Church.

Surviving besides the wife of the home are two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Cathleen) Prescott, Corona, California, and Mrs. Frank (Peggy Ann) Elliott, Gardner, Kansas. There are three sisters, Mrs. Dean Prior, Fort Scott; Mrs. Opal Abbott, Olathe; and Mrs. Helen George, Medford, Oregon. There are also four grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday, following his death, at the Uniontown Baptist Church, with Rev. Deane Endicott officiating.

Interment was in the Uniontown Cemetery under the direction of Earl's Memorial Home.
