Graig R. Woodburn, 50, passed away Sunday night after a 10 month battle with pancreatic cancer.
Raised in Ipswich, MA and a graduate of Ipswich High School in 1978, Graig went on to Hartwick College and then to Georgetown University Law School. He spent the majority of his legal career in Southern California, yet still practiced law in Massachusetts. He was also an avid sportswriter who followed both the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings for the Riverside Press Enterprise, The Associated Press, and Sporting News for the past decade.
Graig leaves behind a daughter, Lauren Wheeler-Woodburn, of Los Angeles, CA; His parents Robert and Sandra Woodburn of Ipswich, MA; his brother Jeffrey Woodburn of Newburyport, MA and an uncle, Walter Woodburn of Jacksonville, AL.
