She married Theodore Augustus McClure and they had 9 children: Geneva McClure Franklin, Holmes McClure, Virginia Kathleen McClure Basham, Glenn Leon McClure, Lucien McClure, Thomas Theodore (TT) McClure, Charles Edward McClure, Grace Mildred McClure Hubbard Mallisee and Murrel William (Pee Wee) McClure.

Holmes, TT, Lucien, Charlie and Murrel all fought in WWII. Murrel was a POW from the beginning to the end of the war. He survived the Bataan Death March.
