Mrs. Pendland died Sunday at a Palestine nursing home after a lengthy illness.
She was born May 31, 1912, in Wilburton, Okla. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Palestine and a retired beautician.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Melva J. Richmond, Palestine; three sons, Alvin L. Pendland and Jerry K. Pendland, both of Palestine, and James R. Pendland, Houston; one sister, Lettie J. Nix, Wichita, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
