Mrs. Mary Cathrine Curtis, age 82, of Leslie, died at Marion County Hospital, Yellville, on October 14. She was born in Van Buren County April 4, 1894, a daughter of John and Lea Guffey Lowrance.
Survivors include her husband, W A Curtis of Leslie and five sisters; Mrs. Ola McFarlin, Mrs. Elizabeth Lowrance and Mrs. Mattie Harris, all of California, Mrs. John Slay of Oklahoma and Mrs. Ida Barnett of Siloam Springs.
Funeral services was Octobert 18 at Leslie Methodist church with Rev. Joe Bourgeois officiating. Burial was in Half Moon Cemetery under direction of Coffman Funeral Home.
