Funeral services for O.O. Anderson, 61, father of Grider Anderson of Somerset, who died at his home at Watauga, Clinton County, early Sunday morning, after an illness of about three years, were held Tuesday morning at at the home with the Rev. Richard Shearer of Somerset officiating. Burial was held in the Pine Grove cemetery. He suffered a stroke of paralysis Saturday night. Mr. Anderson was a native of Wayne County made his home at Monticello until three years ago when he moved to his farm at Watauga. He was a traveling salesman for a clothing concern for many years. Mr. Anderson was a good Christian citizen and had many friends. He was a member of the Monticello Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Misses Mildred Nell and Margie of Watauga, and four sons, Grider Anderson of Somerset, Cecil Anderson of Cabell, James Anderson of Cumberland Falls, and Eugene Anderson of Cincinnati. — Somerset Journal.
