Mr. Casey Lamont Armstrong, 54 of Offerman, passed away late Tuesday evening (December 21, 2010) at Satilla Regional Medical Center following an illness.
A native of Orlando, Florida, Mr. Armstrong had moved from St. Cloud, Florida to Offerman in the early 1990's. He was a construction worker for many years and loved his family; especially his grandchildren. Mr. Armstrong loved to fish and hunt, and also enjoyed drinking his Pepsi-Cola's while watching old western movies.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Louise Rivenbark Armstrong and his father, Steven Armstrong.
Survivors include his children, Andrea Nabors (husband Danny) of Baxley, GA, Jessie Lynn Armstrong of Offerman, Scott Armstrong of Screven, GA; his mother, Hazel Purvis Armstrong of Screven; two sisters, Cathy Wyzard of Orlando and Carol Watson (husband Ray); a brother, Clay Armstrong (wife Pam) of Screven; four grandchildren, Alexis Armstrong, Laila Nabors, Cheyann Armstrong and Jackson Armstrong; three best friends, Keith Helm of Walhalla, S.C., Grand Helm of West Melbourne, Fla., and David Clark of Offerman; several nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
