Sharon Rae Dickerson, 66, passed away January 26, 2010, at her home in Walla Walla.
She was born April 30, 1943, to Robert D. Dickerson and Cleo L. Myers Dickerson. She attended school in Milton-Freewater and graduated from Mac-Hi in 1961. She briefly attended Eastern Oregon College and was married to James M. Towslee from 1964 until their divorce in 1980.
She worked for a number of local businesses including Walla Walla Federal Savings and Loan, Key Electronics, Wrinkle Real Estate, Harris Photography, Mode o' Day, Mary Drake's Playschool, Walla Walla School District 140, Bill Horton Insurance and Whitman College. She was a charter member of the Walla Walla Valley Genealogical Society and served as a volunteer in the PTA and Blue Boosters.
She is survived by her sons, Brian Towslee, Golden, Colorado and Chad Towslee, Coeur d' Alene, Idaho; grandchildren, Alexander, Meaghan and Gavin Periman-Towslee, Golden Colorado. There will be a graveside service Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. in the Milton-Freewater Cemetery.
