Married Marilyn Hedges in Bronxville, NY on 9 December 1950.

Veteran of WWII with the 78th Infantry Division.

1944 Graduate of Colgate University

Edward Dennison Jr . The officers and Associates of Cotterell, Mitchell and Fifer (CM&F Group) mourn the September 7th passing of our former Vice President, mentor and friend. He was a gentleman of the Old School who, from the time he came to Cotterell from Colgate after World War II until his retirement some 40 years later, always and in every way comported himself with aplomb, dignity and forbearance. He was a master of the arcane aspects of Commercial Insurance and Surety and lent his expertise to numerous clients as well as mentoring new professionals when they entered the field. ''Denny'' was a steadfast friend and supporter of this firm. Despite being a WWII hero, having earned a Bronze Star during the conflict, he was humble and circumspect about his accomplishments and service to his nation. Beloved Husband of the late Molly, he would always generate a smile and twinkle when recounting their partnership as curling enthusiasts or their treasured Julys at Groton-Long-Point in the Bosom of their wonderful extended family. Denny is mourned and will be remembered as an icon of another more stable and optimistic time. Our deepest sympathy is extended to his surviving three sons, their wives and children. Richard J. J. Sullivan, Jr. President & CEO The CM&F Group, Inc
