Death Claims Hulda Matherly
Mrs. Hulda A. Matherly, age 81, mother of seven well known Creek county residents, died at 5:15 p. m. Thursday at the home of a daughter Mrs. J. G. Brown, in the Olive community, after a long illness. The body was at the Stubblefield funeral home today pending arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, S. J. Matherly; four sons, Harve Matherly and Leo Matherly, both of Olive; William Matherly, Drumright, and Roy Matherly, Bristow, and three daughters, Mrs. W. P. Spencer and Mrs. Frank Spencer, both of Olive and Mrs. J. G. Brown, Olive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Monday at the Olive school auditorium. Burial will be made in Fairlawn cemetery at Cushing. Mrs. Matherly had been a resident of the Olive area about 35 years.
