John A. Craft is the son of Michael Craft & Elizabeth (Christian) Craft, Jr.
He first married Hilpa Bryson in about 1822. She was born on 10 May 1806 Kentucky and died on 14 Feb 1858 Cumberland County, Kentucky. She is the daughter of Abner Bryson & Nancy Whitlock.
They have five children, all born in Cumberland Co., KY.

3)Rufus Alexander Craft he married Martha Elizabeth Vance
