Robert Ernest Milliken is my Great Grandfather, his parents are Arthur Albert Milliken and Josie Mae (Moore) Milliken. In Joplin Missouri 1918 Robert married Nora Ethel (Chandler) Bradley and had three children with her, they are in order by age Melvin Babe Milliken, Betty Gene (Milliken) Trowbridge Viele Lorton and Della Mae (Milliken) Lorton Womack DeVore.
My Grandfather Melvin Babe(Pete)Milliken is deceased and buried in Clinton, OK.,he married Viola Leona Trowbridge and had Katherine, Kenneth, Ronald, Melvin,Philip and Debra. Aunt Betty lived(now deceased) in Bartlesville, OK., with her daughter Becky (Trowbridge) Wilson and Aunt Della May married three times and had no children, she lived in Owasso, OK., with third husband Floyd DeVore (Della now lives with Becky after Betty passed on). Nora also had a son named Robert Brooks Bradley.
He had six Percheron Stallions he used to pull wells with. That's how he supported his family.
He died in Vinita, OK. of respritory failure due to a long term illness.
