Wesley was a longtime resident of Gainesville and worked in the oil and gas industry with the family business and then other companies prior to retiring. He was a veteran and was honorably discharged from the United States Army.
Mr. Ballew is survived by his wife of 53 years, Wanda Faye Ballew; and two brothers. He was preceded in death by parents, W.B. and Gladys Ballew.
