John Pawlik, my great, grandfather. His parents were Paul and Mary Pawlik, Polish immigrants. John was the first of eleven children. On October 3, 1931, John married Angela Foszcz, also the child of Polish immigrants. On April 10, 1934, John and Angela had their first child, Stephen John Pawlik. On September 20, 1942, John and Angela had a second child, John Stanley Pawlik. On October 3, 1981, John and Angela recived an award for their 50th wedding anniversary. In 1984, John died at the age of 76.
