DECKER, Ind. -- Ada Bell Driskill, 84, died Sunday afternoon at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.
She was a cook at Waffle House and Highway Plaza and a member of Decker United Methodist Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Kaye Driskill and Shirley Yochum, both of Vincennes, and Faye Driskill and Becki Linneweber, both of Decker; four sons, Sonny, Don, Doug and Cotton, all of Decker; a sister, Estelle Alexander of Canton, Mich.; a brother, Bemis Carlton of Denver; 20 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Jesse Woodrow "Woody," died in 1974.
Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Thursday at Goodwin Funeral Home in Vincennes, with burial in Vincennes Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Note: Woodrow Driskill and Ada Bell Carlton were married April 20, 1935 at Caruthersville, Pemiscot, Missouri
