Willard E. Abel, 88 Willow Manor Nursing Home, died at 12:07 am today at Good Samaritan Hospital. He had worked for Naval Ammunition Depot at Crane and owned a radio shop in Shoals. he was a member of the Eagles Lodge. He was born Sept. 24, 1902 in Shoals, to Nathan and Mary Abel. His wife, Dora ( Sanders ) Abel, is deceased.
Surviving are two sons, James Abel and Henry Abel of Vincennes;six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Four brothers and two sisters are deceased. The funeral will be at 10:30 am Monday at the Brockman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-7 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
