Constance D. (DeMeo) Ament, 70, of 362 Turners Falls Road died Wednesday at Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield. Born in Greenfield, she was graduated from the High School in 1944. She was a resident of Alstead N.H., for many years before moving here in 1985. She leaves her husband of 51 years, Francis E. Ament; a son, Gary S. of Sutherland, Ore.; two daughters, Linda J. Cohen of Millersville, Md., and Debbie A. Ament de Nunez of Richmond, Va.; a brother, Raymond P. DeMeo of Richmond; a sister, Bernice Gulino of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service Saturday morning in Aaron Clark Cemetery at Turners Falls. There are no calling hours, and Kostanski Funeral Home of Turners Falls is in charge. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 29 Crafts St., Suite 450, Newton, 02158-1287.
