Ola Pearl Helton
SHOSHONE — Services for Mrs. Ola Pearl Helton, Wood River Convalescence Center, Shoshone, who died Friday evening after a long illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Shoshone with the Rev. James Holt officiating. Interment will be at Shoshone.
Mrs. Helton was born Jane 24, 1890, in Halley. She married Jeffe C. Helton on April 14, 1907 in Hobart, Okla. She first came to Shoshone in 1930 and had resided there since. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Shoshone and was a lifetime deaconess of the church.
Survivors include her husband, two sons, Capt. Cecil Helton of La Grande, Ore., and Don Winter of Tacoma, Wash.; three daughters, Mrs. Ray (Mary Dell) Webb of Shoshone, Mrs. Earl (L.C.) Orchard of Tacoma, and Mrs. Dorothy Hanes of Twin Falls; a sister, Mrs. Amy Patterson of Roswell, N.M.; 26 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Bergin Funeral Chapel Monday evening and Tuesday until noon.
