GUYTON - Joe C. Cribbs Jr., 42, died Aug. 10 at Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center in Brunswick from injuries in an automobile accident.

The Chatham County native was a longtime resident of Effingham County. He was employed by Port City Bumper Sales and was a member of Elam Egypt Baptist Church.

SURVIVORS: his wife, Beverly Cribbs of Guyton; a son, Jamie Cribbs of Guyton; two stepsons, Christian and Alex Neely, both of Guyton; a daughter, Faith Gerow of Okinawa, Japan; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe C. Cribbs Sr. of Guyton; two sisters, Barbara Cribbs of Savannah and Vickie Holland of Stillwell, Kan.; his parents-in-law, Mr.and Mrs. Benjamin Gerow of Guyton; several nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Riggs Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Riggs Funeral Home, burial in Elam Egypt Cemetery.
