She was born in Tiffin March 14, 1930, to the late Herschel and Madeline (Bimer) Kirchner. Her husband of 51 years, Charles Houk, whom she married Nov. 20, 1948, in Tiffin, survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Stephen James Houk of Tiffin; a daughter, Pamela Louise Dunson of Attica; and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Houk, a homemaker, was a 1948 graduate of Columbian High School.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Tiffin and a 50-year member of Order Eastern Star 189.
The Rev. Margaret Marks will be the officiant at the 10:30 a.m. Thursday service in the Turner-Engle Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the church or a charity of the donor's choice.
