Willie Claire "Billie" Webb, 91, of Moss Point, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010. She was born July 30, 1919 in Moss Point, MS. She was a lifelong resident of Moss Point and enjoyed many affiliations including American Legion Women's Auxiliary, Tri Cities Carnival Association, and Moss Point Women's Club. Mrs. Webb worked as a bookkeeper until her retirement in 2002.
She is preceded in death by her husband Howard Leslie Webb, son Howard Douglas Webb, Daughter-in-Law Jacqueline Webb, parents Richard and Nettie Mae (Cirlot) Belin, sisters Madora (Fred) Waites and Annie Sue (Fewell) Seymour, and brothers Louis Antoine Belin and Thomas Cirlot Belin.
Mrs. Webb is survived by sons Charles "Tony" Webb (Jackie), Robert "Bob" (Jean) Webb. Grandchildren Charlie (Bernice) Webb, Donna Burt Mauldin and Terry (Michelle) Webb, Becky (Philip) Smith, and Donald (Terrie) Webb; great grandchildren, Lindsay Burt, Logan Burt, Lisa Webb, Tammy (Dakota) Reus, Ryan Anderson, Breanna Anderson, Jacqueline Webb, Hayden Smith, Haylie Smith, Genna Claire Webb, Addie Grace Webb, MeraBeth Webb and one great grandchild, Zoie Webb. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Services for Mrs. Webb will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, MS with Jason Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Vancleave, MS. Special thanks to Hospice of Light nurse and dear friend Samantha Williams, CNA Sheila Hinton, and special caregiver Ms. Sara Tait for their devoted care and attention. Pallbearers will be Charlie Webb, Terry Webb, Logan Burt, Ryan Anderson, Donald Webb, and Todd Smith Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated, in Escatawpa, MS is in charge of arrangements.
