Alex M. Arellano, 78, our beloved who went to be with the Lord on Oct. 31, 2007.

Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Delia; son, James; daughters, Mary Ann (Alan), Alison (Vince); grandsons, J.W. (Sharette), Jesse, Brandon, Greg (Kelli) and Jeff (Billie); great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Zack; and a host of family and friends.

Alex was born Feb. 23, 1929, in Capulin, Colo. He retired from Rockwool Industries. His greatest pleasures came from spending time with his family, telling stories from his childhood, hunting, fishing and his animals. Special thanks to Dr. Terry Schwartz and staff, Sangre de Cristo Hospice and his R.N., Toni. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice.

Officiant Rev. Mario Murillo. Family and friends will be received prior to services at the home of Mary Ann Combs. Memorial Mass, 11 a.m. Saturday, Romero Chapel. Family and friends will be received at Romero Hall following service. Per his request, cremation with no viewing.
