Services for Lucy Tennie Thames,96,
3807 Melody Lane are scheduled for 3pm Sunday at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev.Bill D.Cook officiating.Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home.Mrs.Thames died Thursday at Medical Center Hospital after a short illness.She was born Sept.2,1887 and had been a resident of Odessa since 1937.She was a Baptist and a housewife.Mrs.Thames was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Walker Thames in 1959.Survivors include three sons,Glen Thames,Don Thames,both of Odessa,and Dean Thames of Sweeney;two daughters,Ruby Tuggle of Odessa,and Mildred Davis of Corpus Christi;21 grandchildren;59 great grandchildren; and 14 great great grandchildren.
