Irene was born in Weiser, Idaho on June 30, 1930 to James H. and Martha M (Coats) Jones. Irene moved to Prineville in 1966.
She worked at the Ochoco Hotel for 25 years and she also tended bar in many different restaurants and bars in Prineville. Irene loved to be with her friends and family. She will be missed greatly for she was loved by many. Irene's favorite holiday was Christmas. As a child, she opened all her gifts before it was time.
Irene is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers; five sisters; her companion, Charles Jr. Demaris of 40 years.
Arrangements are in the care of the Prineville Funeral Home.
