Marcia Esther Vigil, 68, a resident of Albuquerque since 1971, passed away on March 18, 2003. She is survived by her children, Anita Galloway and husband, Ronald of Albuquerque, Ken Vigil of Albuquerque, Karen Vigil of Austin, TX, Andrew Vigil and wife, Doreen of Los Lunas; six grandchildren, Robert, Melissa, Joey, Kenny Ray, Phillip and Emily; one great-grandchild, Vanessa; two sisters, Aurora Dulaney of Springer, NM and Nellie Aguilar of Albuquerque. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Jose Vigil; a brother, Bences Chavez and her parents. She was employed as a day care provider and had a great love for children. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 5:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Alameda, 8818 2nd Street NW with Chris Carlson, officiating.
