Mr. Boles died Saturday in a Houston hospital after a long illness. He was born in Angelina County, September 2, 1930, and had resided in this county all of his life. Mr. Boles was an inspector for Texas Highway Department, a veteran of the Korean War, a member and past commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1836, and a member of the Redland Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margie Boles; son, Chuck Boles, Jr.; daughters, Debra Luce, Sherrie Luce and Terrie Luce, all of Lufkin.
Pallbearers: Les Cahill, Doyle King, Jack Green, J. D. Weaver, Junior Rush and E. A. Pletschker.
