Chicago, and had also been treated at various hospitals in an effort to stay the progress of the disease. Mrs Francis was born at Paris, IL May 15, 1857. Her maiden name was Mary Crawford. She and Mr. Francis were married in 1875. For awhile the family lived in Tuscola, moving to Decatur about thirty years ago. A. B. Francis, the husband, was in the real estate business here. He died three years ago, and a son, George Francis died about a year ago. She was a member of the Methodist church, but ill health kept her away from service during the past few years.She is survived by five children:John, Fred, Claude, O. B. Francis and Mrs. Katie Mallory, all of Decatur. She also leaves a sister,Mrs. Frank Andrews of Paris, IL., and two brothers, Frank and George Crawford of Wichita, Kan. The body was removed to the Moran undertaking establishment and prepared for burial. The funeral will be at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the residence. Interment will be in Fairlawn cemetery.
