Daughter of Maggie (Early) and Oscar Jethro Skinner. Moved from Perry County to Barberton, Ohio around 1920 and met her husband, Harry Russell White. Married and had three children, Jack (Marcella)White of Florida, Martha(Russ) Gallatin of Barberton,Ohio, and Betty (Melvin) Getz of Freeport, Ohio. Stepdaughter Thelma (Howard) Mace of Peoria, Illinois. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. White; two brothers and two sisters. Living sisters, Esther Burns of Manhattan Beach, Calif, Ruth Cave of Sugar Grove, Ohio, and Margie Beers of Lancaster, Ohio.
Edith spent her life traveling with her husband, Harry to Michigan, Arizona, and lived for many years in Inverness, Florida. She loved keeping her home and writing letters to family.
