Duella M. Frey
Duella M. Frey 84, widow of Cullen G. Frey, of Evangelical Manor, Philadelphia, died last Tuesday at Nazareth Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Clay Center, Kansas, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Ida Mall. A 1922 graduate of Kansas State University, she taught home economics at the high school level for five years in Kansas. Before moving to West Chester in 1938, she lived in Washington, D.C., and South Milwaukee, Wis., and the New Century Club of West Chester.
She was a member of the West Chester United Methodist Church, the Order of he Eastern Star No. 263 of South Milwaukee, Wis., and the New Century Club.
She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy I Moore of East Stroudsburg, Marjorie L. Gibson of West Chester and Lucille C. Shirk of Ronks; two sisters, Elva I Herrick of Oxford, Ohio, and Thelma F. Fern of Kansas City, O.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial interlude will be held as a portion of the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Sept. 11, at the West Chester United Methodist Church.
